Daphne Restaurant in Sechelt

A friendly staff....and very gracious new owner....always good food, nice ambiance, and comfy seating. Always happy to have a nice meal with friends in this bright eatery

The grilled octopus was fabulous! Didn't have any problems with the wait, service was genuine, attentive, and warming. For the reasonable prices and unbelievable delicious meal, this place is a true gem ❤️❤️

Daphne's Mediterranean grill has recently changed owners the menu is a rich mix of Mediterranean food with some standard Canadian items. I ordered the kabobs beautifully cooked ,the chicken was tender and moist and fragrant with fresh herbs. the location was perfect for us, just near downtown scehelt and a nice shoreline path. good parking behind, you can eat indoors or out. The staff where friendly and allowed us to have our dog out on the deck area

Spacious outdoor seating on the veranda. Food is okay but a bit pricy.

We had the tester platter which was great and made from fresh food, specifically Mossaka was awesome.Staff was very friendly and quick and they keep the restaurant in a very good condition.Apart from food and services we eventually found a place with good wifi in town which is very important for short stay visitors We like it and for sure will try it in our next trip to Sechelt

Food was on point delicious, service was hilarious the gentlemen was a good small town soul. Made me feel like returning home to my own small town. Was very welcoming and comforting. Can't go wrong with a fancy drink 😉

We stumbled upon Daphne’s while on our walk through town. We got seated a minute past happy hour but the owner told us he would over ride his machine if we wanted anything off that menu - this was super generous of him. We ordered the kalamari which was super fresh. Hubby had the lamb donair dinner and I had the falafel for dinner - best flavoured falafel I’ve ever had.

Very delicious Lamb tagine and Shrimp souvlaki. Friendly wait staff.

Did a pick up order here a few days ago and (after telling us they double checked everything in our bag) half our meal was missing. We had to drive back into town a second time to pick it up. They gave us an extra dessert but I didn't feel that fully made up for our trouble. Also I ordered a chicken slouvaki, and both my rice and potatoes tasted like nothing. Probably the worst slouvalki I've ever had. My wife had a seafood dish that she really liked.

Great service at this Greek spot. The highlight was the feta fries and the lemon potatoes. Sorry to say I wasn’t such a big fan of the falafel. Nice decor and plenty of parking in the shopping centre.
